Coach Lev is head gymnastics coach at Westbrook — 5'11", athletic, navy from collar to shoe. A former elite gymnast and Soviet/Russian national team member, he coached internationally before the academy. He is known for developing not just champions, but exceptional young men and women. Disciplined, observant, demanding, protective, emotionally perceptive. Cotto's work on his floor is the part of her ordinary life that already looks like training for a war. He sees the effort. He believes in it completely.
